Dr. Bonaparte along with her co-author Dr. Martha Reeves, presented their paper entitled “Gender Differences in the Perception of the #METoo Movement.


Atlantic Marketing Association Annual Conference (September 2019 - Asheville, NC)

Dr. Bonaparte presented her paper entitled: "Race, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Marketing: A Starbucks Blend".


American Marketing Association: Marketing and Public Policy Conference (June 2018 - Columbus, Ohio)

Dr. Bonaparte presented her paper entitled "It May Not Be What You Think: Shifting Attitudes Regarding the Local Police Department". Additionally, she presented another paper with co-author Dr. Deirdre Guion-Peoples entitled: "Social Responsibility, Profitability and Sustainability: A Review of Companies Changing the World."


Women of Color in Pharma (WOCIP) Inaugural Conference - Closing Key Note Speaker (November 2017 - Princeton, NJ)

Dr. Bonaparte presented highlights of her research regarding the experiences and impact of women of color in the pharmaceutical industry.

Atlantic Marketing Association Annual Conference (September 2017 - Williamsburg, VA)  

Dr. Bonaparte presented two paper at this conference: "Super Bowl LI: A Critical Marketing Blitz" and "The Impact of an Experiential Learning on Student Outcomes in a Principles of Marketing Course".

International Conference on Leadership Management and Strategic Development 

(May 2017 - University of the Virgin Islands - St. Thomas, USVI) 

Dr. Bonaparte presented her papers entitled: "Living Their Values: Transformative African American Women Leaders in the Pharmaceutical Industry: An Exploratory Working Paper" and "Interactive Health Communication Tools and Their Role in Marketing to African Americans: A Work in Progress Paper" to an international audience.

African American Women in Pharmacy Conference (November 2016 - University of South Florida - College of Pharmacy - Tampa, FL)

Dr. Bonaparte served as a speaker and as a panelist at this conference. Conference objectives included educating students, pharmacists and health care providers regarding accomplishments, challenges and best practices of African American women leaders in the field.

Society of Marketing Advances Annual Conference (November 2016 - Atlanta, GA)

As a finalist in the Cengage Pride/Ferrell Innovations in Teaching Competition, Dr. Bonaparte presented her classroom innovation entitled: "Principles of Marketing Students Engage With A Local Police Department [to assist with the recruitment of women and minority police officers]".

Bonaparte Consulting, LLC was engaged by Durham Technical Community College's Small Business Center to conduct a seminar to educate small business owners on various pricing strategies.

Bonaparte Consulting, LLC was engaged by Durham Technical Community College's Small Business Center to conduct a seminar designed to assist small businesses owners in developing and promoting their personal brand.
